I’ve included below two of my very favourite lesson plans that I have written so far.
This first one was a lesson I wrote for EDLL 3100 during first semester. It was actually the first lesson plan I have ever written but I really liked the concept of it, although I am sure it needs a little editing as I am still very much learning. I liked that I included the idea of mental imaging and producing those images in the students mind. This is a challenging task.
This second lesson plan was written for EDTL 3100. I actually got the idea of the lesson from my mom, who is an elementary teacher. I actually remember her teaching me this in Kindergarten and grade one and it stuck with me 17 years. It is about an idea in reading and writing that is often challenging for students to understand. Which is the “magic E” aka the silent E that takes up space in so many words.
